"Hellooo, Zawame City!" cried out the DJ shoving his face into the screen, "Today's the today you've all been waiting for! The Beat Rider Wild Royale!"
His face moved back a bit before he grabbed a Lockseed and held it out for the world to see.
"Open to any and all Armored Riders in the city, this will prove to be quite the spect-acular! Prizes and fame for the winners, fun to be had for all! Armored Riders, you have only one hour to get ready and arrive at the Yggdrasill Industrial Park on the far southern end of town! Any that arrive late will no be allowed to partici-pate!"
He took a pause to let that sink in, "Good luck, Armored Riders! Let's have one rockin' Wild Royale! This is DJ Sagara signing off!"

"A battle royale?" Sae asked, watching the announcement. "This is pretty ambitious... bit with the amount of Armored-- er, Kamen Riders here, it had to have happened eventually...." She then looked around the apartment. "Aiko? Hey, Aiko! You here?"

Kari was sitting on a bench, staring at her class C Lockseed. "This seems..lesser than befits me.." She sighs a bit, her ears perking up as she notes the Wild Royale message. "Maa...guess I should go there." she gave, strapping the Sengoku Driver on her waist and heading to the location.

"Holy s***!" Rat shouted upon seeing and hearing DJ Sagara's news on the big screen TV. "Yo, Kota, we're totally going to this!"
Kota was also, not just shocked, but hyped for the event. "But two of our members haven't came back from vacation. Not to mention that whether or not our Drivers would qualify for this event."
Rat was not going to just stop there. "That'll be fine! C'mon, it'll all be good! Our fellow teammates wouldn't want us to miss this, anyway!"

James sat in Neil's suite, reading over the upgrade manual when he heard Neil shout. "Of course" James said smugly. "What better way to show off the power of the twin dragons than beating all of the other Riders?" A Battle Royale? James felt uneasy about this, but said nothing.

Speaking of looking good, he better come up with a good disguise. He doesn't need his father or Takatora finding out he stole a Lockseed, didn't return another Lockseed accidentally dropped by a dealer, and a belt took while Taka wasn't looking..

James looked back down at the manual, thinking. He didnt have the time to calibrate the new Drive Bay before the Royale started, and if he screwed it up during the conversion his Driver would be useless forever. He shrugged and patted his pocket - he'd be sticking with Old Faithful.

"Huh, a cheese royale?" Fate said puzzled as she did her morning yoga in Team Discord's rented apartment, "Isn't that a hamburger?"
"A cheeseburger," a minion corrected, "In France."
"I see..and we'll be fighting for fast food..? No thanks."
"I don't think that's what he meant," added another minion, "He said battle royale not cheese royale. You'll be fighting the other Armored Riders for some sort of prize, presumably cash."
"I see.. Ha, if those corrupt industrialists think they can force me to battle others for mere monetary gain they can..!"
"Ma'am," said another minion as he walked in the door, "Our bills are here."
"I'll do it!"

A few beepings of cars can be heard outside, followed by the angry voices of drivers complaining at Rat and Kota for jaywalking and disregarding traffic rules.
"C'mon, man!" Rat shouted. "First come, first serve!"

James stood up, throwing his manual down as he turned to his ally. He didn't comment on the mask, figuring that Neil probably had reasons he didn't want his face to be known. He needed to look unto getting one himself...
"Let's get to the industrial park, green dragon" James said, sliding his Cretaceous Driver into the pocket of his jacket. "It's time to set the world ablaze."
