I'd be surprised if there wasn't a cop on the team.

So the entire Tokkyuger production (design-wise) is apparently a big play to get the Power Rangers version to become a sequel to Kyle XY, because the mooks are clearly working for Zzyzx. Look at the belts on the mooks, clearly it's part of Zzyzx.

Toquger scans confirm that the color changes are in fact, pointless. They just give access to weapons.

The Shadow Line enemies' names all mean black in different languages and to contrast all of the Tokkyu's names mean Light.
Considering there is now an Orange and they are supposed to be the Rainbow there seems to be a good chance of a seventh ranger, maybe a Purple or Indigo.

What more can we do? WE're already pirating the show and not buying the merch.

Kyoryuger Breakdown:
Daigo: The show isn't referred to as "Daigo Sentai Kingranger" for nothing. I personally began to care less and less for him as the show went on. I prefer Jyan as far as spotlight stealing hyperactive Reds go. Also, too much Carnival!
Ian: Best character, period. Charismatic and charming, he gets all the bitches.
Nossan: Second favorite character after Ian. I didn't really think anything of him at first, but he really grew on me, especially his puns. I also greatly enjoy his fights, visually.
Souji: Character, practically non-existent. I did enjoy the few rare episodes where he actually got screentime, though. We never did find out if he gets together with that one girl as she disappeared completely in the show's second half.
Ucchi: I liked his faux jerk persona and how much of a nice guy he turned out to be. Time displaced characters are also a personal favorite of mine.
Amy: To be blunt, I freakin' hated her. It seemed like her sole characteristics were "fan-service," "rich," and "annoying catchphrase." It's sad when your own butler is a far more interesting character than you are. Don't get me started on the last minute out of nowhere awkward-feeling Red/Pink shipping. Also, why was she was working at a Maid cafe when she's rich and unmotivated? The answer: guys like girls in maid outfits.
Yayoi: Same with Amy, I couldn't stand her. She was shoehorned in as a ranger to please the fanbase and even then she was extremely underused (though I theorize that was all a big fuck you to the same people). Her sole characteristics were "smart" and "has a creepy stalker crush on Daigo". She really more like a plot device at times than an actual character. I wouldn't hate her as much, probably, if she hadn't replaced the far more interesting and likable Doctor Ulshade.
Ramirez & Tessai: Though they weren't around much, I liked them, especially Ramirez. I like his replacement, Nossan's sister, for the two episodes she was actually a ranger. In fact I like her FAR more than the other two female rangers (it's also a plus that she isn't a feminine color). Grey's replacement, I don't really have strong feelings for in either direction. Edit: Actually I agree with this guy on TVN, Gentle should have been the new Grey.
Torin: Has the best transformation sequence eva (air guitar, fuck yeah) and has become my favorite mentor-type character.
Deboss Legion/Army: Though they have rather goofy designs (minus Endolf, D, Icelond, and Deboss himself), I found them quite interesting and liked that they developed as time went on, unlike most static Sentai villains. I also like that the main Knights have a rather subtle Wizard of Oz thing going on.
Overall: I'll give Kyogyuger a.. 7.5 overall. It was good, but it could use some major improvements like better written female characters and not focusing on one single character too much. I loved the fight scenes and their energy, though the mecha fights were usually lackluster (monster grows, form mechazord, kill it with finisher). I usually liked the mecha themselves though, despite being rather blocky and plastic looking.
Next time: Rainbows, trains, and another hyperactive red.. oh my!
