"I wasn't myself, and it was a robot," she said. She tore her glove off and pulled the ring from her finger. She threw it up and slashed, but missed. As soon as it landed she stabbed it to break it and pulled the glove back on.

She turned her sword sideways and swung the broad side at Vera's head to try to knock her out.

She banished her weapons and started to drag Vera's body.

She dragged Vera to the bedroom and looked at her. Why did she do that? She had no plan, but she couldn't just leave.
