As long as the stories and characters are good bad CGI is fine.

I watched the first ten episodes of Hibiki, nope, prefer W DETECTIVES!

W is sheer amazing, but I loved the character driven Hibiki.

W is arguably the best Neo-Heisei series.
Now did you guys watch the Gaim premise?

Nobody here knows Japanese, so no. We are a TV Nihon family.

W is pure magic plain and simple. Kiva is good too (usually).

Gaim. You are fantastic and I hope that no amount of executive meddling will mess this up.

Now I'm expecting it to be Hibiki'd.

Holy shit, Gaim was so good.
It felt like a mix of early and late Heisei, but without the forced shitty comedy (Shunpei...). It had a good balance of lightheartedness and drama, it abandoned the two week format, he kept his belt after de-Henshining (which makes me happy), and I like these characters, I want more of this world.
No executive meddling and we'll be good.
And episode 2: Zangetsu!

So, as you may know from the chatroom: I'm downloading Hibiki! With my timetable and at least one episode a day I should be done in about a month?

You'd finish the good part in a month, then the bad part in a few more weeks.
