Jessica gratefully took a puff of steam from her ecig as it turned on. She slapped her belt onto her waist while still smoking the device. "Well if they're here" she said, putting the cigarette away without turning it off, "then we might as well see if we can find them!" She slid the Shachi Medal into its slot just after she finished saying this. She was kind of eager to get this whole OOO War thing over with so that she could get her cure. Besides, the longer it took the more likely it was that the War wouldn't kill her.

"You're going to transform right here and now?" Mezool asked, folding her arms over her chest.

"Maybe, maybe not" Jessica said. "I figure if I echolocate I might be able to find something unusual. Besides, in my line of work, you learn that keeping your face hidden is always a good plan." she said, flipping her Unagi Medal." She caught it between two fingers before sliding it into the second slot of the OOO Driver. She usually preferred to keep her identity as the Blue OOO a secret. Of course, occasionally she slipped up, but she did good to keep her nose clean. She stepped behind a dumpster in a nearby alley just in case.

Mezool lagged behind her, tilting her head a bit as she watched. The plan made some sense, but even Mezool wasn't sure if echolocation would help her pinpoint another OOO.

Jessica slid the last Medal into the slot and whipped out her OOO Scanner. She scanned the three medals, causing the weird song to play.
"Sha-sha-shauta. Sha-sha-ShaUtTa!"
She absolutely despised that bloody song, but she figured that there wasn't a way around it. The glowing medals slammed into her, turning her into the blue OOO again. As soon as she was transformed, she rolled her shoulders and cracked her neck. She closed her eyes - an action that meant nothing - and sent out a sonic wave. It bounced back, mostly only telling her that Mezool was standing near her. She should have figured that might happen, but she figured she might as well try.

Mezool remained where she stood, just watching to see what Jessica may do. She figured it wasn't going to work, but it would teach Jessica just what echolocation was...

"Well that didn't work" Jessica admitted with a shrug. But in the corner of her eye she saw a RideVendor on a street corner. "But I always have a backup plan" she pointed out. She looked at Mezool. "Can you spare a few Cell Medals?"

She tossed one to Jessica without question, "I've never understood these things...," she muttered, referring to the Vendor.

"Me either" Jessica said. "But they can be useful." Jessica walked over to the Vendor, throwing the Cell in the slot with expert precision. She hit the red button, causing a red can to pop out. She picked up the can and popped the tab, turning it into a Taka Candroid. The small bird cried for a second to acknowledge its master. "Search for people with Medals" she said, intentionally not specifying OOO. If they could find a Greeed, they might be able to take it by surprise. It nodded and flied off.

"Are you sure it'll be able to tell who has Medals just by looking?" Mezool asked.

"Probably not" Jessica admited, putting a foot on the nearby wall. "But I figured it might turn something up."

Ankh had spotted Nathan some time ago but was standing back until his 000 had sufficiently calmed himself. He was walking, staring up at the sky in wonder as per his usual habit, when he noticed a bird; but, this was no normal bird. He clucked his tongue with distaste. "A mechanical bird," he said with disgust before it dawned him what it meant that this particular type of bird was here.
No good. He didn't have time to let Nathan cool down. He ran up to him and pointed at the mechanical bird before it moved on. "Nathan, another Greeed or at least another 000 is nearby."
"Now what...I don't know that much about these fancy toys. Do you suppose it realized that we have Medals?" The bird hadn't seemed to pay any special attention to them but it was still unnerving that another Greeed or 000 was so close by. He didn't particularly want to fight at the moment.

He looked up, "So it is...," he said, looking back at Ankh. He smiled and held up a Core Medal, hoping the bird would see, "Well then Ankh, let's go hunting!"

Ankh grinned back, relieved to see that Nathan had recovered his composure. He appeared to be his usual confident self. "You ready?" he asked smugly, going over potential battle strategies in his head.
He tossed the pastry he had been holding to Nathan. "Saved one for you," he said simply. That was the closest Nathan would ever get to an apology. He smiled. "Remember, a king takes what he wants!"
