He tossed it back, "And a king gives back to his people," he told Ankh. He really didn't want it, but he was serious; he would be the type of king who looked out for his subjects. Assuming that this whole 'king' thing was more literal.

"Am I person now?" he asked with a laugh, catching the pastry. "I thought I was a monster." He hid his bitterness well. His voice sounded perfectly nonchalant and cheerful. He was still disappointed in Nathan's shortsightedness, not recognizing the glory of his true form. But he was a weak human. Ankh shouldn't have expected so much.

"Forget about that," he said, "Right now that's not important. What's important is taking care of whoever is here, whichever OOO or Greeed is here in London with us."

"Well I tried" Jessica said, getting ready to climb up the wall when she saw the bird. She smiled and looked back at Mezool. "I think we've found something."

Ankh nodded. Good, Nathan's head was on straight. They should focus on the task at hand. He bit into his pastry and continued to compose strategies. "I do wonder which one of my brothers or sisters sent that disgusting bird. It doesn't posses the charm and grace of the real article." Hideous. That mechanical beast was the real monster.

"Yeah, you're right," he told Ankh, running off ahead. He was going to fight! He was more excited about just getting there, rather than standing around and talking.

Pleased to see that Nathan was so animated about his work, Ankh chased after him. He was eager to see how well Nathan would fair. This would be a good test of his skill level.

Jessica followed the bird for only a moment before seeing a man coming in her direction. She chuckled under her breath and got ready to grab her whips.

Mezool kept back, looking at Ankh. "So...the Red OOO...," she said, "Jessica, they're using fire!"
Nathan loaded his belt onto his waist and slammed the three Medals in. He drew his Scanner and ran it over the belt.
"Taka, Kujaku, Condor. Tajadoruuuu...." the belt sang.
The Medal projections flew out, slamming into Nathan and forming his armor as the crimson OOO.

"Good thing" Jessica said under her breath. She extended her hand and shot off a blast of pressurized water at him. Yeah, it might bounce off the projections, but she didnt care. Wordlessly, she pointed at Nathan before turning her hand. She beckoned him closer like a dog to its master. With her other hand she prepared to grab her whip. Jessica was ready for anything.

As soon as his armor formed he lifted his left arm up, taking the water into his shield. He stumbled back from the pressurization of it, but at least he was safe. And now she was beckoning him? Hell no.
He threw his arm forward, unleashing flaming blasts from his Taja Spinner.

Jessica met the blasts with another stream of water. She wordlessly stared, wishing she could raise an eyebrow on her mask. She threw her hands aside, shrugging as if to say 'come on, really?'

"Wait, you think I'm going to come over there and fight directly? I know how this works; water extinguishes fire. I'd rather go with that than a whip. I'm no Christian Grey," he told her.

Jessica shrugged, as if to say 'your funeral', and shot off another stream of water. After that she grabbed her whips and stepped forward, cracking them at him.

Ankh quietly stood back, observing. He provided Nathan with no instructions. Ankh was superior to Mezool. As such it was only obvious that he would select a better 000. Besides, he wanted to properly gauge Nathan's skills. He wouldn't be able to do that if he was providing aid. Know yourself. Know your enemies and you need not fear the outcome of one thousand battles. He needed to accurately assess his tool so he knew what he had to work with. That would help him tailor future strategies.
Now that he was no longer running, he continued to munch on his pastry, enjoying the show.
